For this excursion to Machu Picchu, we have two routes that you can choose from:

Machu Picchu Inca Jungle Bike Tour

This is one of the multi-sport routes since it begins with a descent by bicycle from the Málaga Pass to the town of Santa María It is a cross-country type route along a wide track path from 4,317 m up to 2,551 m. After this, we have canoeing in the same jungle as Santa María.

The next day we have a walk through the jungle to the coffee plantations and coffee tastings, and then finish in the same thermal baths of Cocalmayo.

The third day includes a zipline in Santa Teresa as well as a 13-kilometer hike from the hydroelectric to the town of Machu Picchu.

And on the fourth day, you will visit the citadel of Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.

Machu Picchu bike tour through Salkantay

This Salkantay bike tour is one of the best mountain biking adventures you can do, with a connection to the citadel of Machu Picchu via a short singletrack path from 4,630 m to the very jungle of Santa Teresa at 2,917 m.

On the first day, a 6 km walk is carried out. from the community of Soraypampa to the Humantay Lagoon, round trip, and rest one night in Soraypampa.

The next day we start with a stretch of walking until we reach the Salkantay Pass, which is located at 4,630 m. From here, our full bike descent begins on a short singletrack path from the dry climate to the very hot climate of the Chaullay Jungle.

The third day, our bicycle adventure ends in the terminal baths of Cocalmayo after a 35-kilometer bike tour.

The fourth day, walk from the hydroelectric to the town of Aguas Calientes, then visit the citadel of Machu Picchu, and then return to Cusco.
