El Pastor begins near the community of Huaccoto, cycling through eucalyptus forests from 4,300 meters (14,300 feet) down to 3,300 meters (11,500 feet) where the district of San Sebastián is located. This route features 8 kilometers (8 miles) of pure adrenaline-pumping descent.

After completing the first mountain bike tour, we will board our transport to head to the Occoruro Pass, a 40-minute drive away. From the highest point at 4,200 meters (14,500 feet), we will begin our descent down the mountain range with some short climbs, until we reach a natural stone statue in the shape of a witch or wizard—with a large nose.

Both bike paths are enduro category – advanced technical level for experienced cyclists, with good pace, good physical condition and acclimatized.
