Singletrack Cusco Lares & Lamay

Singletrack Cusco Lares & Lamay

The sacred valley is one of the MTB paradises. There are Inca trails and bridle paths through the mountains that connect to Inca ruins, young towns, and cross through incredible viewpoints, rivers, and extraordinary landscapes.

These two routes through the sacred valley are 2.5 hours away in mobility from Cusco, here below we detail how the routes are:

Lares–Calca Mountain biking

This route starts from the Lares pass at 4,462 meters and continues until reaching 2,952 meters, where the town of Lares is located. The path of this tour is through an Inca trail with sections of steps, a stone garden, bridges, curves, and a super vertical of more than 90 meters at the beginning of the tour.

The route through Lares crosses small canyons, bridges, and the Inca ruins of Calispuquio; with a total distance of 25 km.

Sapactto-Lamay Mountain biking

Our second bike tour is the famous Lamay route, which starts at 4,315 m and goes down to 2,950 m. We will pass through small communities and crop fields as we travel.

Lamay’s route is an old bridle path, tiered paths, rock garden paths, and short paths (singletrack) to enjoy to the fullest.
